After a long hiatus (maybe more than 10 years), Easter Islanders are back in business again. Inspired by a new iMac computer, a copy of Logic Pro 9 and a mate's request for a movie soundtrack, a new full-length album of dark, melodic, yet danceable has emerged. The Easter Islanders Sound World
Getting tired of all the dull, unimaginative techno out there? Then you've come to the right place. Easter Islanders believe that the missing ingredient in most electronica is melody. Just having your sound defined by the equipment you're using is not enough, and these days it seems as though everyone and their grandmother are using the same tired old loops from the same beat-boxes.
So, you will be pleasantly surprised by what you hear on these pages. If you like the MP3 samples you hear, you can order CDs online in the store.
